Furigana Injector!
For those of you who are studying Japanese, here is a great add on for Firefox: the furigana injector. Will add furigana (reading for kanji) beside (or above with the Ruby ext.) Can be set to ignore as little as the first 100 Kanji, so is great for beginners and when progress, the readings can be scaled back. I truly think this is a great add on and a must for any Japanese student!

Speaking of studying... a great website I found: http://www.yakitome.com Enter text and a robot, (choice of many different voices) will read it back to you. Also supports German, Spanish, and French. Used it last night to read my history notes back to me.... well it was kind of funny cause I mark things in the notes, that the teacher says will be on the test with a *. "star 1879 star Louis "x" "v" "i".... (ex, vee, eye). But great to read articles off web pages too! Let me know what you think! ROME – Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi was punched in the face at the end of a rally on Sunday by a man holding a small ... As always you can email me at iknowchristalena@yahoo.com!

Yule Altar
Hello Again!
Just wanted to post some pictures of the Yule Altar. Some nice fresh Rosemary, a yule log, wreath, and a Yuletide god and goddess. This was done very inexpensively, I changed the altar cloth out to a new color (by altar cloth I mean mostly rectangular leftover piece of fabric I keep for these occasions.) Then, by draping some ribbons over the altar, and not cutting them or gluing them to something, I can re-use them latter. Found some images on the internet and printed them off, (Hint! buy the ink in bulk and re-fill the cartridges themselves, then it becomes even more inexpensive and good for the planet too). Lastly, I just got some rosemary out of the garden.

Is this for real? Chavez a Wiccan?
Filed under: Communism, Entertainment, Issues, Politics, Religion, South America, Tree Hugging, World | Tags: Chevez, Communism, Hugo, Hugo Chavez, Politics, Religion, socialism, South America, totalitarianism, Tree Hugging, Venezuela, Wicca, wiccan
Hugo Chavez has openly declared his new conversion to Wicca, a nature-based religion, early Monday morning. To the astonishment of many followers, or Chavistas, he has already begun pushing the conversion of the entire nation to Wicca with a fully televised announcement.
Wicca is an ancient nature-based religion with converts scattered all over the world. Wiccans, meaning “naked witches,” see this as a great advancement to their naturally small following.
“Of course this is easy for him,” states Carlito Sanchez, a Venezuelan student. “Following his recent constitution reforms, in which he extended his term from five years to seven, he’ll have no problem instituting this devil-work as a state religion.” With totalitarianism – Chavez’s complete grasp on the nation’s media, mind, and economy, commentators calculate it should be fairly easy to carry out a few thousand, if not, millions of Venezuelan converts.
Televised broadcasts are scheduled to run for three days with Wiccan documentaries, following the president’s personal reading out of various books including Wiccan, the History of the Wicca, and the official gospel, the Book of Shadows. It is also recorded however, that as the Wiccan population may grow enormously with the conversion of an entire impoverished and overpopulated nation, Chavez’s popularity rating is likely to plummet.
“Maybe this is why he created the seven year term in the first place,” remarks Sanchez.

Cool Summer Drinks

I know it's hot outside at the end of summer so here are some new drinks I created that are light, refreshing, and alcoholic. First the Naughty Arnold Palmer: Fill an ice tea glass with ice and half way with ice tea, and the other half with mike's hard (or harder) lemonade. Next, Cranberry Mint-juice: Fill glass with ice and half with Mint ice tea and the other with mike's hard ( or harder) cranberry lemonade. Then, the Margawiner: Fill blender with ice, one shot triple sec, and fill with Arbormist, blend and serve. Lastly the Posh Roman, Fill a shaker with ice and one part red wine (merlot works well) and three parts water and one tbs. simple syrup (sugar dissolved in hot water), shake and strain. Hope these will cool you down and buzz you up at the same time. Enjoy the rest of summer!

I was amazed when I saw this video for two reasons. First the girl is absolutely beautiful, and wholesome. I was so happy to see her with clothes on! Sorry, I am all for everyone dressing how they want, but the point of clothes is to wear some, and so many artist today only make it big because they look good in a bikini, not on the merit of their music. Like "Lady Gaga" or whatever, her whole video she is half naked and singing the same two lines over and over again. Second the lyrics to this song are so refreshing. All day at work I have to listen to this "Gangsta" rap; about shooting people, disrespect for women, and being a "Balla'." But on the lighter side, this video should put a bright spot in your day.
